Marion.TC Foundation in actie in Gambia!

Na vele maanden van voorbereidingen is het dan nu echt zo ver! De container met meubels, kleding en speelgoed die Marion Reijerink samen met veel vrijwilligers heeft ingepakt in Juli is na een lange reis aangekomen in Gambia. De eerste container was al aangekomen en opgeslagen. En na wat opstartproblemen, een te kleine vrachtwagen die kwam om de spullen te transporteren naar de eindbestemming, zijn de spullen op donderdag 18 oktober toch op de plaats van bestemming aangekomen.
Op maandag 22 oktober 2018 zal Marion Reijerink samen met enkele lokale vrouwen de spullen uitpakken en uitdelen op school. Ook de tweede container is gelukkig al in Gambia, die is op 14 oktober aangekomen. Er is dus genoeg te doen!

Some weeks ago I got a phone call from a lady, Marion Reijerink from Holland. She said that she had sent two containers with schools furnitures, toys and clothes to Gambia. She had hear about Gambia Care from Pa, and she was thinking to give us the furniture to our school in Jenung Kunda - 200 tables and chairs. Today Pa and Marion have transported some of the goods up to the school. This is just fantastic as we soon will start to build the second school building for our Primary classes. Thank you so much Marion, I really hope that we will meet soon in Gambia so that I my self can tell you how much we appreciate this enormous gift!
